In sump vs external skimmer

I am debating myself over Reef Octopus DNW 150 vs Reef Octopus Extreme 160

The advantage of the DNW is I won't have to modify my existing sump since it can run external to the sump.

A potential fatal disadvantage of the DWN is collection cup removal.
I have exactly 27" height- it says it's 26.5 - any experience here?

Recommendations between the two - or other skimmers in similar price range for my 75 ???

I'm a fan of the Extreme as I have one. I did a lot of research before I purchased mine and everything seemed to point that the Extreme was one of the best skimmers that Octopus makes and one of the best bang for your buck skimmers...
