Is there a dry-rock group buy?

I`m in for another 20 lbs of dryrock from Mark.

I am in for 50 lbs depend on price.

How much should I get as base rock for a 90?

30 to 40 lbs?

I definitely need some!

I'm interested in 40# or so.

is this going to happen? Marc?

I have no idea.

Hey guys sorry for the delay, my time to read here is seriously limited these days.
I have about 400# in stock right now and another ton on the way. We've dropped the price to $2.00/ Lb. For the next week, price will be good for all paid orders during that time. Pick up can be arranged from there.

Marco's dry rock is very light. 40-50 pounds of this is a lot of rock. We checked a few pieces that we won at the cook-out (member dunking) meeting last summer, it is about 1/2 that of the typical live rock you will see in the stores. In six months, mixed in, it looks just like the rest of the rock.
don't forget the weight water adds to "wet" rock. Marcs rock is a steal.

See, this group buy crap is silly. I filled a 72 gallon tank for less than two hundred bucks with this rock!! 4 huge rocks and several pieces, plus a couple seeding rocks from my other tanks. It is amazingly light, very well shaped, and priced very well in light of that.

Dong, a group buy is when you buy in quantity to get a discount. What you guys need to do is organize a -CAR POOL-. Meet at someone's house in a central location, drive down and buy a few hundred pounds. Or even just have thatp person pickup. Hirocks is more expensive, and the equivalent of concrete slabs compared to this stuff. Pay mark the 2.25 and understand you're getting the very best rock. Fill a trash barrel up with salt h20 and soak the rock with a skimmer for a week, blast the heck out of it with a power head, and toss it in a tank to cycle the tank and cure the rock.... It'll be purple in no time
