WTB ISO Tang or Blenny (RI Area Preferably)

In search of either a Tang or Blenny to help with hair algae control in my 20 gallon waterbox - open to anything else that will help control it or advice from anyone who is also struggling with hair algae, would love to hear what worked for you

With a 20 gallon tank I would go with a snail clean up crew and control your nutrients. A tang would be too big and not happy in your tank. You could go with an algae blenny but you might have to re home when it gets bigger.

Agree a 20g is to small for a tang , he will be stress and get sick , you will risk your other fishes health as well .

Aside from what have already mentioned, a sized clean up crew and control feeding habits, a sea urchin may help with algae as well. From past experience, what worked best was fluconozol, or commercial name reef flux - follow instructions closely and effects can be seen 7-10 days after use. hth
