So just an update I have stopped using my filter on the tank. just running lights, 1 hydor koralia, and a heater. It's been this way for about two months now and everything is going good. I do a two gallon water change every Friday. I use instant ocean for my salt mix. I top off with rodi water I make at home. Awesome little tank. Couldn't be any happier with it. I have a 60g cube that I was planning on setting up, but I think I will keep riding the nano wave
