I've gotten lazy

Gina McReeferson

My sweet Baby David
Thinking maybe someone has seen these before and will save me some digging. Gina discovered these in the backup system when removing what appeared to be a dead hermit, she said they were all gathered on the hermit (about 6 of them). Never seen them before, but I don't pay the same amount of attention to that system unless I have something under observation in there (things that go through quarentine and still seem suspicious find themselves in here until proven innoccent of any shadyness).

Here are some pics for you...

they almost look like coneshells but i dont know maybe you shouldnt touch them?

flip them over and get a look at the underside of the shell..that will give the snail guys and gals in the group the info they need... they remind me of some type of nerite but....

Not a coneshell, looks like a type of cowrie?

Sometimes they can be predatory...

That is what I was thinking...Guess we will wait and see.

That's it!

Testhead, you're awesome!:) Thank you for finding that for us!

Thank you all for your help.

Nice to see that it's reef safe, have to go do some research on it.
