JBJ 28 Nano Cube

Looks good! I might add one thing, looks like your rock work is very close too your glass. Unless you dont plan on cleaning the glass in that area, I would make sure a magnetic cleaner will fit between glass/rock.

thanks, yeah I was thinking the same thing but the rocks that are against the glass are whole so i'd be able to slide em out the way and scrape real quick

I know this will probably be frowned upon by most due to the tank just finished cycling but...

Trying to keep it very simple, I removed the media basket that comes with it and added chaeto and the jbj led refuge light I also may be adding some chemi pure just to polish the water

I finally spent the money and ordered an AI hydra, I'll be modding my hood so an update and pictures coming soon

I did it to mine I had a biocube. Took the splash guard off and gutted everything. Then put it back on. Put the light on top and trace it. Used a dremel to cut the section on. The light fit tight in and used black silicone to make sure it wouldn't move.

Thanks, that's exactly what I'm doing and I'm also gonna try to upgrade the fans in the hood

Here are the pics of me modding my hood with an AI hydra, The light and controller are incredible but I wish the spread was a little better, I know it's not intended to be setup the way I did

I wanted to salvage and use the splash guard so I carefully unscrewed all the screws holding the splash guard on

Now depending on if you want to save the lights and fans you would obviously want to take your time and remove everything carefully but I just used wire cutters and the Philips screw driver and stripped it
