the power that those leds put out would be next to nothing. i am using 3ft of led rope light as a moon light for my 29 gal reef. with leds its not about how many, its about the power. 1w each led as a minimum, preferably 3w each. that lighting puts out 3w total. there are other cheap options out there.

good find for moon lights though.

I've done 10 gallons 5.5 and now a 4. The ledsnthat I built were small with only 8 3 watt Cree LEDs. You would need like 12. If you check out my pictures in my tank thread I have a bunch of pics of my led build on the 2nd page. I think it might help you out. My fixture is MORE thank enough for anything I could ever want and it only cost me lie 65 bucks. Hope this helps
