Kalk and 2 part dosing

I dose with a 2 part and put kalk in my top off water. I would like to stop with the 2 part since it is expensive but if I just use the kalk my alk and calc levels drop after about two days. I'm following the directions on the label for mixing kalk, should I make a higher concentration kalk mixture to try and keep up with my systems demands or could that do more harm than good?

I have a 50 gallon system with about 1.5 gallons of evap per day. I have mostly SPS with a few LPS so there is a good demand for alk and calc.

Have you thought about a calcium reactor? There is a upfront expense but once its set up does not cost much.

randys two part cost around 20 dollat and it makes gallons of two part i did it for a few year before i got a calcium reactor. worked great for me and easy to make heres a link

you can also increase your evaporation to allow for a higher dose
