Kent Marine HI-S RO System

All the filters need replacing and the membrane is over 6 years old which also needs to be replaced . Is it worth just buying a brand new one seeing how all these things will cost over 100 bucks . It's water for a biocube so don't need any unit too big and expensive . Looking for ideas on good units or recommendations if I should just replace everything .

If you go with aftermarket filters, you can replace all for about $75. Sediment and carbon blocks in run about $5 each. DI resin and a refillable canister about $25 and another $35 for a new RO membrane. This is also a good time to upgrade the flow. My HI-S system was 25GPD when I bought it. It's now a 125. Changing the flow only requires a membrane of the flow desired and a new restrictor. The restrictor will add about $10 to the cost.

My opinion for a few extra bucks you can purchase a nice simple 75-100 gal/day new unit, check out BRS or AquaX but they are all pretty much the same.
