Thinking about buying a BTA but have two Koralia 3's in my 55g. Has anyone had any issues with their anemone and these pumps? If so, how do you cover the pumps? Thanks

When it comes to Koralias.. I don't thing anyone has has any problems.... I think one or two has had problems with other powerheads and BTA's

bta will move if it doesn't like where it is at.....but it might sting everything in its path while moving..

Never had a bta. I would really like to get one but have been concerned about the moving etc. I think my maroon clowns would like one also.

I had my maroon clown long before my rbta, and it took the clown about 2 hours to start hosting and he hasn't left since. I actually have found the bta to be less mobile than some of the other anemones I have had. Find what you think is a good place and start there. Mine loves light and moderate flow. He will relocate if he isn't happy! No problems with the Koralia's, I have 2 number 4's in my 92 and no issues, echoing what someone said above, I haven't seen anyone with problems with them, just some of the other ph's out there. The relationship between the clown and the bta is amazing, you will really enjoy watching them! good luck!

I have a LTA and Maroon with 2 Koralia pumps. The LTA never has gotten close enough to them for me to say for certain they cant be injured. However the Koralias do come with a shield you can place on the front so its not as open as is without. I think youll be fine.

btw, my Maroon hosted my anenome almost instantly and it is an awesome addition to my tank. It has moved maybe 2 or 3 times since Ive had it(about a year) and split once. I think 1 or 2 of the moves was due to me messing with tank flow though.
