i would be in for some xp-e rb as well depending on bin..any chance you can get the bin number?

the price on the xr-e q5 isnt that amazing by the way, they can be had on dealextreme for cheaper i think, the xp-g looks to be a better deal, especially if we can magically hit the 101 mark

so something like

30 rb (depending on bin) and 20 xpg

assuming you are willing to ship at cost or even for a fee

sorry if I have changed the topic a little but, I am intrigued
I would love to have a light for less and fits my canopy but I'm at a loss for what to do with these led's after I get them.
I guess I will need a few controllers, heat sink, cpu fans and a good soldering technique.
I can probably solder without issues but what about the contollers, what would i use?
I guess I would want to build something that would work for my 432 sq in of my surface area of my tank, so that means maybe 36 leds.
I could round off to fit for the controllers but I have no clue what to look for.
Also, what about the heat sink, I guess this should be aluminum
if you could direct me I'd appreciate it.

maybe this should be something that is addressed at the meeting, seeing that this is a popular topic

I want in I just dont have any idea on how I should set it up? I want a dim led light so I can get all the colors into my four tanks ill be upgrading my light to. thats a alot of heat sinks, controllers, fans and wiring. help please lol

Here is the bin info I received...

In the XRE white, I have bin WCQ5 stock and it takes 3-4 days to be mounted on star boards.

The XPE Royal, I have D415 and the same lead time to be mounted.

Just a heads up I ordered the LED ballasts so I should be ordering the LED's within 2-3 weeks so if you're still interested pm me...

Just get 14 of LED ballasts "24V 100W 4.1A", some LED's from eBay very cheap i am not sure how they will work.

And an even more recent update... I will not be doing an LED kit anymore I've decided to replace the bulbs and reflectors on my t5's and re-evaluate LEDs in a year when I need new bulbs... If anyone is still interested in the LEDs shoot me a pm and I'll get you in touch with the lady I was dealing with...
