Lemonpeel's first meal - an interesting one

...to me anyway.

Picked up a beautiful Lemonpeel at Jay's a couple days ago for the fowlr. It started picking at the LR as soon as it hit the water and just for kicks, I tried to feed it flake. It did taste the flake but rejected it and went back to the LR. As of yesterday it started picking at nori but I couldn't tell if it was being ingested.

I scored some nice cured Fiji rock yesterday and within a minute of being in the tank, an aiptasia anemone popped up on the top piece of rock. The lemonpeel swam right over and sucked it down. :D He's a keeper. :.

Wow, that's pretty interesting. I wonder if it was just a freak thing or if he'll actually eat more of them, you'll have to let us know!

Thats awesome. Congrats on your aiptasia angel.

Pics? I really like that fish.

Hmmm...lemon peel eats Aiptasia....something new every day! Great score, I hope it doesn't eat too much more than the Aiptasia.

OK Mr. Skepticism. :D I've read on RC that LPs have been caught nipping nems. I'm still going to go ahead with BTA and keep a close eye on it.

He makes and interesting noise when darting across the tank. Kind of sounds like a water bubbler.
