Mine took a little while to adjust to the leds but now they're growing like crazy. I run a low nutrient system with mainly Sps and they're still growing great.
Plus no feeding corals in my tank. I dose 2 part and Acropower, Sometimes potassium to level out.

Question... any harm in placing acans so close together that they touch? Will they harm each other or battle for real estate?

Not normally, but I don't think it's impossible. I think almost all Acans get along ime......

Never put an acan echinata next to an acan lord...the echinata will kill the lord.
