LFS Par Meter Rental?

Hey guys, I got some new lights coming in tomorrow and am anxious to install them! Want to do it right by having a par meter by my side. Our forum meters are currently out for calibration with no estimated return date. Love the reef has theirs out currently on rental & Tropic Isle charges a whopping 35$ per day... as oppose to love the reef, they charge 45$ per week.. Tropic Isle is ridiculously over priced!! Anyways, does anyone know of any other LFS that offers rentals?

The club has a free rental program that a deposit is required and returned. I have borrowed wet pets but most store have them to rent its really not gonna take you long to map the tanks par a night should be enough.

Thank you for the help! I ordered 2 Orphek Atlantik's. My tank is 48x20x18. 80% LPS 20% SPS. Arranged by height in rockwork in comparison to PAR demand. Would like to be 50/50 one day, but for now this is what I have. Current setup is 3 AI Primes 10" from water level. It doesn't seem to be strong enough which is why I have upgraded.

I know these new lights pack a PAR my tank has never seen before so I want to take precaution and not burn these corals alive hahaha

True that I visited their beautiful store before and that was the first time I set eyes on the Atlantiks in person. it was a dream

I currently have the one from Love the Reef rented out, planning to return it either tomorrow or Saturday. If you give them a call I’m sure they’ll set it aside for you after I get it back to them.

So it’s you! lol I called them and they told me it’s currently out but should be coming back tomorrow or Saturday. I work in Cambridge but live in Worcester. If you were done with it and had free time tomorrow to drop it off that’d be super convenient for me because I’d already be close by! If not no worries I can take the drive up Saturday. Not sure how far we are but we have two of them so we almost always have one available. It’s $25 a week. $300 deposit and you get 275 back when you return it. Ours is apogee and it plugs into a a laptop.

You get the deposit back it’s just so we can buy a new one if someone decides to keep it.

Besides Tropic aisle, they require 125 deposit and it cost 35 a day to rent or something like that
