lighting for a 46 gallon bowfront

i have a 46 bow, and i run a 250w mh over it. i modded my tank by removing the center brace, and use plastic coated wire instead. no shadow, no loss of light, no problems i can send pics if you're interested...

I would have liked to get T-5s but I have a 20" 30 gallon Oceanic cube. The shortest T-5 is 24" and PC stinks so I went to MH. I am very happy with it. I love the shimmer effect.
