Live rock order - TBS or KP Aquatics

I'm starting a new tank and wanted to order some FL live rock. I have order from KP before (rock, macro algae, and gorgonians) and really enjoy working with them. I was still planning on giving TBS a shot and have heard amazing things.

Would anyone want to join on the order with either company? I am aiming for rock/sand from TBS and probably additional gorgonians with KP.

Keep me posted, I am probably looking to place the order with either company in the next 1-2 weeks.

I have been debating between the two for a while now, im leaning tward KP aquatics now because I dont like the idea of the man made epoxy coated rocks that TBS uses, most of the really great reviews of TBS I have seen are older from before they started using the walt smith rock

gotcha, I have ordered a fair amount from KP and they have a great product!! That being said I was still leaning towards TBS as they ship with more water and this prevents die off. I can say I had a full cycle when I added KP rock to my established tank -- but I did expect that.

My understanding is that TBS still does sell mined rock in addition to the walt smith rock-- but I would want to verify that. I agree I'm less of a fan of artificial rock and that would be a deal breaker for me-- Im actually a geologist!

Would you have an interest in pooling with me, like I said assuming no artificial rock I would go with either company. I believe we could even have them separate into separate boxes since they would both be sent to logan cargo.
