Reefing ain't Easy
I got my 75g up and running. I plan on having a mixed reef. I got a 4" hippo, a zebra goby, and am getting a pair of adult maroons. Can I add anymore fish?? If so what would be most compatible?? Would love to add one or two more fun, colorful fish. TIA

Tim

You might want to add a wrasse but beware that they are jumpers. There are a lot of colorful ones to choose from.

You dont think my bioload is too much?? I was thinking about a wrasse or maybe anthias and a blenny.

IMO, a 75 gal is too small for a 4" hippo. I'm not saying that to be a jerk either, I just saw the difference first hand with my hippo when I moved it from a 4 foot to a 6 foot tank.

Thanks. He is actually a little over 3" but I was rounding up. I hope to upgrade tanks to a 125 within the year. He seems to be fine in this tank right now. He is 4 or 5 I believe so i dont expect him to get much bigger but I will monitor it closely. Appreciate the info.

I don't think it is too much. The key is good skimming and staying up on your water changes.
