Locline, how do I put it together?

Hello everyone,

I need some locline to connect to my return outlet but LFS sell them separately. And they don't have the Hose Assembly Pliers for 3/4 inches. Is there a way to buy the part separately and assemble it myself or I need to order a Hose Assembly Pliers online to do the job? They are pretty tough to put together by hand, I tried for couple minutes but can't get a single one of them to connect.

Any suggestion would be great.

Wet the ends with water or you could try a water soluble "lubricant" from the anti-baby making isle.
