Longnose Butterfly

I am thinking about getting a Longnose Butterfly instead of a Yellow Tang. I have a softy/zoos tank. Does anyone have any experience with a Longnose in a softy tank? Will he eat my zoos, mushrooms or my RBTA?

Thanks,

I was just having a discussion with someone about butterflies being vary suseptable to stress from agressive tankmates. He had lost a few CBBs and a longnose over the years for no good reason other than they were getting picked on and died with the first minor infection they got.
Aren't CBBs a little more likely to be safe than a longnose? Not sure on either.

I've read that CBBs are very difficult to care for - more than Longnose. Thanks for the heads up on their susceptibility to aggressive fish. The only "aggressive" fish I have are two yellow tail damsels which are not very aggressive at all. But I'm looking for an excuse to get rid of them - this may be it! Just have to catch the little ba^&^&ds!

IME CBBs have been far more difficult to keep than longnoses.

If you find somewhere to put them, take my four line damsel too. I just can't flush a healthy fish.

Cindy - I could never flush them either! Hopefully my LFS will take them back - if I can ever catch them!

Armando - have you ever had a Longnose? Are they difficult to keep? Do they nip at softies???
