Looking for instructions to build a 20g L sump

Capslock did you center your overflow box in the tank? Pm me a pic please. One of your sump also if possible. Thanks

My overflow is on the back right (tank is in a corner viewable from front + left). Just enough room on the right of the overflow to do a little algae scrape. Which works quite nicely as my overflow is a simple piece of flex PVC that drops straight to the right of my sump and the return is a piece of black tubing straight up on the left side - makes for ridiculously easy plumbing.

Thinking of doing it just like this only put valves to adjust flow at each return.

Yes it is. I could have moved the overflow up a 1/2" but I am happy with the outcome. Bought all plumbing stuff and ordered some black plasti-dip to coat the back. gonna get some glass baffles cut this week too.

Well, In between painting my bedroom, cutting down a tree which was going to fall on my neighbors fence and cleaning the garage I finally got to do a little dry fit plumbing on the build at the end of the day

Well more progress with mu build tonight, glued everything up and made sure it all fits together. Tomorrow take it all apart and paint the back with some black plasti dip and start to build my 20G long sump
