Lost power yesterday around 10pm since than i have been dealing with the tank all night long.... The tank its in the basement and water gets cold very fast...... Temp is going up and down quickly Inhope I dont loose anything my batteries are almost gone and i couldnt find nothing for sale..... I think Im Bout to loose everything :(

Run to home depot and buy a battery inverter. You connect it to the cigarette lighter in your car and it can power 300w off your car battery. Then at least you can connect your heater and a small powerhead which still sustain your tank for a few days. Every few hours run your car for an hour so that the battery doesnt die on you.

The inverter is like $30..

Everything is sold out! I been to HD Lowes Pepboys everything sold out I have a power inverter 100w im running a pump with it and putting water bottles w hot water to heat up the tank.... I raise the water a bit but it goes down so quickly

Do you have anything you can wrap the tank in? when I had my tank sump open in the basement I used foam insulation to keep the heat in

Maybe you should alternate heater/powerhead. Your tank can last a few hours at least without flow, so at that time bring up the heater? How many watts is your heater?

i would keep the inverter on the heater. siphon a bucket of water out and stir it. dump it back in every hour or so to re oxygenate the water. i would be worried about the heat first.

Good luck Renato, hope everything will turn out to be ok for your house and your tank. Keeping my fingers crossed for you buddy

I just wrapped the tank with pillows. Temp seems to be more stable. It sounds crazy but im on my way to CT to buy the last generator. I found in a HD THERE.. Its 2 hours from my house... I put so much efort in this tank that im not gonna let it die not today....
Thank you guys for all the help!

The heater is far more important... everyone flips out about flow, and all you need to do so scoop and pour wwter with a large cup or pitcher or something...

I'm in Plaistow if you want to take the ride? I got a genny going and got room in my sump for your coals. 978-360-6114, Peter
