Lots of tube worms

In the past I have seen a tube worm / feather duster here and there. Recently they seem to be growing much faster and filling out completely the sump and the tank walls. I hope it's a good sign!

Whoa, a population explosion.
I think it's a good thing - a much better sign than everything dying.
I think it's part of the comeback process.

I really like tube worms, I think they're cool. I always feel bad scraping the glass. I may get one of those scrubby pad brushes so that I can wipe the glass without scraping off all the tube worms. Does anyone know if that would work as I expect?
