Well have a big problem.
I just caught my salinity very low. Seems my refractometer was reading wrong. For some reason I decided that i would recalibrate my refractometer since i havent since I got it a few months back and I found that my SG is only 1.018 which is extremely low. I recently have just added a sebea anenome about a week ago and today just added pulsating xenia and leather toadstool. How long will low salinity take to start killing corals to the point of no recovery. I already did a water change to start getting the SG upand i will be doing one everyday until its fixed. All i want to know is are my corals and anenomes in danger of dying in the next few days while i raise the SG or will low SG take weeks to fully kill a coral.
I think the low salinity was also the cause of my ALK being so low before.
