LTA Question

GottisEgo

Non-member
I know these guys like to wander, but I got a LTA from a member last weekend and it attached firmly in a great spot. Came home from work today and he is behind the rock work.

Is this relatively normal?

Lta's can wander a bit but not as much as a BTA. They do not seam to like to be blasted by the powerheads. My LTA moved a bit, it has been in the same spot for almost a year now.

What do you have for lighting?

Jim

I just recently aquired a Pink BT, and what I did was feed it a good amount when I liked the spot it was in. It seems to stay in that spot now, and I just keep feeding it to keep him/her happy.

Well until he moves out from behind the rock's I will try that. I will start worrying in another week or so. I know he is still alive and kicking because when I was doing a water change today, I moved the rock around and he was still partially inflated and looked fine. I'm sure being in that dark spot, he'll eventually look for better light.

i have never had an anemone move on me. I would think that would be frustrating having the anemone behind the rock. Hope everything works out the way you want it to.

I really wouldn't worry too much about him hiding a little. As long a he looks fine-let him be, he's getting used to this new enviroment.

When I helped a friend switch over to a 90-after the rock work was in place he thought were running a bit "low" on time so to speak for the livestock so he filled most of the tank with REALLY not even close up to temp water and newly made SW too(think in the 60ish range) and plopped some tof the livestock back in "to give them a better chance"-one was a BTA-it was AWOL for almost a month-then poof! he was back and all was good(in the time it was AWOL it was never seen-so I counted it as dead).

Someitmes you need to give things a little more credit and relaize they are hardier than you think and tolerate more than we realizae. Good luck but I think you should be fine:)

Thank you. I'm sure everything will be fine. I've had some bad luck with Nem's in the past so we shall see. Badluck meaning BTA taking a spin in the powerhead of death lol
