Wow sorry to hear about your tank damn that sucks but alteast you were home to be able to take care of it.
Did it crack or did the seam let go? I always worry about this type of mishap

it was a seam. im not sure what I want to do about this tank. it had a chip inside the tank from day one. aga assured me it would be ok, but somethings telling me it wasn't.

I was there today,

can't say for sure but it seems to me that a bottom seam was weak or stressed out somehow. We couldn't find a crack at all, but the silicone looked pretty inconsistent on the AGA tank. One way or another it was leaking around the plastic bottom trim. It seemed to me that it was leaking from the front bottom seam but that's just a guess. It was definately not an overflow from the top and the tank is not drilled.

Jeff - your new 125 reef will be lookin great with the bright light and new aquascaping good luck again. If you start to see much die off in the 125, I have a smaller ER skimmer that would help a lot with the skimmer you had on the 180 or by itself. Your welcome to borrow for a while.

Are you kidding? Keeping goldfish is more intense than a reef tank.

lost some goodies, like my acans and neon gsp. (I don't know where they ended up lol) major bleaching on some sps, but surprizingly, it looks like it might bounce back. only time will tell.

I was reall lucky to have the 125 gallon almost ready. I was planning a fish only with live rock setup.

on the bright side, I had this tank drilled, so ill never have to deal with hang on overflows again!

I could patch it, but I lost my trust in it. it could be fixed and never leak again, but in the back of my mind ill still worry about it failing again.

clamman, Ill take you up on that offer for the gsp. when are you available? surprizingly the orange digi I got from you is like the healthyest coral I have. the thing is like indistructable.no bleaching, nothing at all.good thing too, I love that coral.
