Awe, you know I am only kidding. I sort of thought that was implied.

I know I only go home, because my bed is there. The dogs are the only ones that come to the door to greet me these days.

So I guess that is all we are all good for...

Last year I helped out with recording the auctioned items. I just couldn't believe how many items/critters were transacted, it is mind boggling. I wanted a few items & didn't have a moment to spare from the frenzy to act on any. So my advise is that anyone interested in any item be ready as it'll go fast.
I can't wait to see what I can sneak in (without my wife seeing) this year!

in years past, paid members got a paddle, and non-members could buy a paddle....which cost as much as a membership...(getting the picture?)

some members got 2 paddles, but that caused some members to actually bid against each other, but that is another story

There is a sub-forum in reef talk For the donations, Just empty at the moment.... Come on everyone send in your pictures of your donations, so the BOD can put them up.. LOL

Those of you donating, GET US SOME LISTS! I'd love to have a fairly comprehensive picture gallery for the day of the auction!

And for those of you buying, remember, many of our donations come day of the auction, you NEVER know what will show up!

I can not stress this enough. I came last year with a small cooler, and a very specific shopping list. Well 4 hours later, and making the mistake of giving my paddle to a friend who just bidded on stuff she thought was "neat" I had 27 more pieces to work with in the tank...

What did we learn from this???? Don't give the paddle to my sister. Or you will come home with a "Frog Pond" that you were not planning on having to find a place for!!
