i have marco sand in my tank along wth marco rock. but every time i try to re aquascape i get a complete cloudy tank....i rinsed the sand really well......

what to do? i want to aquascape but cant because i cant see a thing after moving 2 rocks.......

your skimmer can filter out the very finest bits, and a filter bag can take it out too....

Thats why I 100% regret using it. 8 months later and its still the same thing. Its just so fine, it explodes with the slightest touch.

I have marco and have the same issue. In addition, every time i repsitiona power head sandbed shifts and I have a wise a** maroon clown who loves to wag his tail in it that clouds the tank daily. My rocks are constantly covered in silt. It's been 2 years and I am planning a makeover soon. Trying to decide whether to go with a larger particle sand or crushed coral.

That said, Marco is a great guy to do business with. His sand looks and feels awsome to the touch but it just never settled in the way I hoped.

i even got the course sand hoping this wouldnt happen :/

oops duplicate

I used Natures Ocean sand with the pink bits in it, sugar sized grains. After rinsing it really well, it doesn't stir up much at all. I hardly get any when I siphon, and I got the fine grain look that I like.
