i never got an email response from them so i called.
After trying to teach me how to use their order tracking system that apparently i did not no how to use:rolleyes: They realized i was in fact correct and my order had no current status.
Turns out the item i wanted was on back order yet the shopping cart said it was in stock, i was not informed it was on back order.

I won't deal with them again,if i get caught out by companies trying to keep a sale on something they don't have by not operating an accurate shopping cart i don't use them again,after all who knows if they actually have the next thing i want in stock.

If they had emailed me after the fact apologizing i would maybe look at it differently,that would show they do care about the customer somewhat,instead they leave it up to you to chase them.
 
David, I am sorry you had a delay in receiving a replacement for your broken stator. I hope this cleared up any questions anyone has about Deltec and Deltec customer service.

Marvin, thanks for taking the time to post on BRS.

My frustration isn't with the delay, it's the tell the customer whatever they want to hear attitude and lack of communication.

To sum it up, only one (1) of my calls was returned. I had to be extremely persistent to get this rectified.


A few highlights:


...Deltec guy was on the other line and would call me right back.
FAIL

...Deltec guy was still not available but will call me right back.
FAIL

"No problem, the new pump is in Philly and it will be delivered in a few days, Monday/Tuesday"
FAIL

"UPS will pickup the damaged pump but you'll have the new one first"
FAIL

"I'll CC you on all correspondence between Deltec and MD"
FAIL

...only tracking number he had was for a pump that was delivered to IL
FAIL

If they can't find it, they'll "send another one expedited"

"I'll call you back in 15min with the tracking number"
FAIL

"It shipped today and I'll call you right back with the tracking info"
FAIL

"We shipped it expedited"
FAIL


BTW: The FedEx guy handed me a AquaBee Pump box (MCE600) and I almost had a nuclear meltdown. Fortunately I opened the box to find a MJ1000 stator and didn't refuse it. :D

Also, this MCE300 is producing the darkest skimmate I've ever witnessed.
 
I ordered 4 96watt SPS PC bulbs from MD 2 weeks ago ..UPS delivered and all 4 bulbs were broken...I called they said they would ship out 4 more and UPS would pick up the broken ones 5 days later UPS picked them up and 2 days after that I had 4 new bulbs in perfect condition...wait I haven't put them in yet..S#%T!!! did I just jinx myself?....lol

i've ordered many thing from md and never had any problems but i always call in my order i dont use the web site i do that so i can ask if the item is in stock or back ordered nothing but good to say
 
I've ordered from MD numerous times in the past and never had a problem until a couple of weeks ago when I ordered a bunch of test kits. When I received the kits, one of them had an expiration date within one month and another was going to expire within three months.

Their customer service department was very responsive to my emails. At my request they replaced the two Salifert kits with Elos kits (which are double the price) at no additional cost to me and with free shipping.

I still question why they would send out test kits with expiration dates so close, but I have no complaints at all with their customer service. They handled my issue very well.
 
I know Salifert has gone through some rough patches the last couple of years but I ordered a Mg kit from MD and it came to me in a Salifert Ca box with a hand written note, "this is a Mg test Kit".
