I've been at this for a minute and learned so much from you fellow reefers and Thanks for everything.

This will be my 4th build is going to be challenging but I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be a 160gal mixed reef with sump and fuge. I have been collecting various parts from fellow BRS members and purchasing new. (See pics)

The tank is coming from @All Things Aquatic. Hopefully be here by fall.(need to refinish floors first) It's going to be a Planet Aquarium tank. The dimensions are 60x24x24. I'm thinking of a shadow overflow center for Bean animal drainage with Euro bracing.

Stand is Aluminum with leveling feet, I didn't want the added weight from wood. Yes I'm name dropping. Tidal Gardens uses this vendor Alufab. The stand was $500.00 less than the others. Pics will follow.

Controller APEX NIB from BRS member. Trident - sold enough nems to buy new.

Skimmer - REEF OCTOPUS REGAL 200s from BRS member.

Power heads 2-MP40s from BRS member. More to come.

Sump - Still have a few ideas. Want a fuge. What's you opinion?

Mechanical filtration - Definitely going Roller Matt (Pun intended) Guy with no arms and no legs laying in front of a door.

Heaters - 2 FINNEX

Update

So I got new arrivals. Thank to @joek99 Got an awesome deal on 4 - XR15 G5 pro and like new MP40. It's only $200 each to upgrade to G6s. Can't wait this is killing me.

Only things missing are the tank and sump. I'm going back and forth between Planet Aquarium and Glass Gages for the tank. Planet is a cheaper but they don't sell direct. Glass Cages ships direct. Not that I don't want to support LRS but a purchase this $2000-2400. Retail mark + shipping or shipping cost direct. Still working on final numbers.

Tank thoughts 60x24x24-26. Low iron glass. Euro bracing with an external overflo for Bean Animal drainage.

What doe you guys think about that?

Sump still thinking but 30-40gals under tank

I have been pilling bank from side jobs and finally have the $$$ for the tank. I still need to get the floor done but that $$$ comes from a different account.

So here is the tank build from Glass cages. Hopefully it will be set up by Christmas. LOL

Status Update. Had to take advantage of the 20% off that BRS was offering. This is going to look AWESOME!!

The only this missing for this build now is the fleece roller and of course the main ingredient the tank.

As planned for now the tank should be here in the spring.

UPDATE!!
I was able to grab so more sweeet gear from a fellow reef. I scored an APEX PRO, GRO, DOS, AFS and another Trident. The sump has also come in AND the Reef Mat 1200 is in the house!!!!!!!!

I recommend running heater controllers in line with the EB832 as a 2nd safety.

Any update on this? Did you go with Planet Aquarium or Glass cages?

Sorry to say but nothing good. Wife lost here job last year so everything is on hold for the time being. :(
Thanks for asking though.
