mh bulb help

i bought a mh bulb for a friend so ive never seen what a new mh bulb looks like but i got this online and there are a couple of brown spots around the middle of the DE bulb that look like they are on the inside. also the metal connectors on the ends look kinda brownish too anything i should be worried about? could this come from like a testing or something?

That's what I'm thinking,from a test fire.
If this is a reputable company,I wouldn't worry about anything funny going on.
What brand of bulb is it?

I think the brown on the inside is normal....all of my MH bulbs have come that way and I have gotten normal life out of them. As for the brown on the metal ends, not sure....never looked at my ends before.

I have personally never received a bulb that has a discolored inner bulb. That is normally what happens after a bulb has been used. With some bulbs I have used it happens pretty quick, others it takes months.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I have had quite a few bulbs that the inner glass is frosted or opaque but not dark spots, again that happens for me after some burn time.
