Starting a new tank and have finished the stand and canopy. Not the best pictures, but you get the idea.

inside of stand there is a dedicated 20A circuit for just the tank and can also see the RO/DI line coming in through the wall.

I ended up using polyshades which is a stain and poly in one, 2 coats. I tried several traditional stains and could not get the deep color I was looking for. It is a bombay mahogony gloss finish

I think you may want more then one circuit for the tank
Better to have the circ pump seperate from the lights
I have maybe 5 circuits for my tank
1 for the lights
1 for the pump
1 for the Tunze
plus 2 more - but some are in the basement where the sump is located

Is your tank viewable on 3 sides?

Tank is only viewable on 2 sides. It is in a corner. There are 2 circuits but one is shared with the family room. To start I am going to run a1 heater, return pump, and skimmer on living room circuit (my entire 75 is running off this circuit now) and run the lights (3 DE 250, and 4 54W T5) and the tunze's, and 1 heater on the dedicated circuit. This way if one circuit trips and the other is running I still have circulation and a heater in the tank.

All other equipment such as my calcium reactor and monitors will be split up between the 2 circuits. If I find I need to add another I set it up so it is easy to do. I have plenty of room in the panel and I installed 2 outlets in series with the first one a GFCI. I could directly wire the second to the breaker and have 2 dedicated circuits and 1 shared circuit. I will see how things go.

Ah, I saw the wall bordering the other room & thought you may have opened that wall up. But looking at the pic again you can tell it's only the 2 sides.

My 125g is viewable on 3, and I feel the front to back depth is not quite enough. So I'm installing a 180g instead.
Sounds like a good plan on the circuits, I went a little overboard
Plus with the sump & frag in the basement it easy & needed to have a few more circuits
I have 250's on mine too, nice lights

hey Dave... you're all over the place tonight dont know where to post to you lol.Yes I got a 125 rr aga from all things fishy. brought it home in my little s10 blazer. I built a stand for it myself but I'm not putting a top on it cuz we want a couple mangroves

Had a friend from this board help me get it into the house and onto the stand. Just pulled the stand out from the wall to make it much easier.
