Missing Yellow Tang.. HELP!

I have to agree with above. There is no way a RBTA took a healthy yellow tang. Their sting is just not potent enough. If it were a carpet, it would be a different story. I can handle RBTAs with no problem. If I try to handle a carpet, I have to take the opposite hand and peel the carpet off if it begins to stick. Huge difference imo/ime.

I disagree with those statements because my tang was healthy and happy. That morning he was swimming around and eating at feeding time. later that day he was in the BTA's mouth the only other fish in the tank were 2 clowns and they shared the tank together for almost a year with no problems at all. Just because you have not seen it does not mean it is impossible. Here are the pics to back up my story

Not impossible, but definately unusual. The tang does look a bit thin, are you certain that it didn't pass for other reasons and then end up getting caught in the nem?

Nothing is impossible in this hobby, but some things are very uncommon :)

Im 100% sure of this. He wasnt as thin as he looks. he was perfectly fine that morning and was eating and swimming around. I had nothing else in the tank that would cause him to perish that fast. It is what it is

I agree that tang does look rather thin and sickly.
But,I'll agree, some crazy things do happen in this hobby.
