Monti encrusting over another monti

Scott G

MAH BALL
I have 2 monti caps, one orange, one green. They are right next to each other and just recently I noticed that one has encrusted over the other and fused together. Is this okay? I don't want one taking over another.

Thanks

That should be fine. You might get a brand new color out of the two! I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice one really doing poorly - but I don't think that will happen with 2 montis.

I'll take a frag of that...:D

They will probably just duke it out and both end up with a little bare skeleton between them.

How cool. Seems they should be fine were they are the same genus. Let us know how this progresses.

I have montis and digis that grow into each other. There is just a little bare line of skeleton between the two. I even have 2 acros that have joined up. I haven't had any freaky hybrids grow, but I've been waiting and looking :D
