Does anyone have any advice to buying frozen mysis that’s more cost friendly? I like these because I can buy local and avoid shipping charges + I know I’m feeding a consistent amount every time. They’re 9$ a pop and I go through a tray a week. Just wondering if anyone has any better methods? Would like to try and keep the feeding amount consistent as well.

They sell larger bags that you can chip off as much as you want and it's generally more cost effective. You could also buy a bunch of frozen ones online and even with overnight shipping once you buy enough it's cheaper than the $9-$10 price you pay at Petco.

@Cpage101 what's that vendor that you use?

I buy in bulk here 28 trays. the club has a 5% discount. The code is 05114

@jayteerq $167 for 2 day shipped. they pack with dry ice. that’s $6 a tray can’t beat that at any LFS

Choose the 16 oz flat pack for $12.

I don’t know where you’re located but I know Ocean State Aquatics sells the flat packs in store.

Oh damn really? I swear I did the math once and it ended up evening out after shipping lol. I’ll try to source a better vendor.

I buy the 40 ounce flat pack at pets warehouse. It's $52 to my house in new Hampshire. They do a good job of packing it in dry ice. I have never had a problem even on the hottest months.
