Mounting SPS Frags

Is there a way to securely mount SPS frags onto live rock that is already in the the tank w/out first attaching to a plug. I don't want to mount it directly into apoxy b/c of possible RTN. I thought of using glue but I can't take the rock out of the tank and I am not sure how well it will stick by putting glue on the bottom of the frag and dragging it through the water to place it on the rock.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You could use expoxy to form a "base" for the coral. Put the epoxy into the hole where you want the frag. Take the frag and stick it into the expoxy to make a mold of sorts - then remove the frag. Let the epoxy dry. Then super glue the frag into the molded section. Just hold it for about 10 seconds and voila.:)

take a small piece of rubble and superglue the frag to it and then epoxy the rubble to the rock, this keeps the epoxy away from the tissue
