Moving my tank from one home to another first time, I have change and moved tanks within my home before but never from house to house, I will be setting up a remote tank at my shop 60 gallons or 100 gallon Rubbermaid with a heater and power heads for a day or 2, will I be ok with just that for filtration .? Should I reuse sand sand bed is 11 months almost to the date or buy new.? I have a sand sifting star and a sea cucumber ? Also a wrasse that sleeps in the sand bed can anyone lend some advice ? Thank you

I have not moved a tank but I would say you will have to save the old sand with a cuc and star , they will need the food

I just rinsed the sand in the water that was in the tank, the new tank was filled mostly with fresh mix water. kind of like doing a large water change.
Vacuum the sand out of the tank, rinse, put it in the new tank than move the rest of the stuff. If you can do it all in one day even better. the water in the new tank clouds a little but in a couple of ours it's back to clear.

I have a 15 gallon refugium with a 4" sand bed that I will keep un disturbed should I place them in there ?

Replace the sandbed with new sand and reseed the new one with the old sand. Wrasses can sleep in a small container of sand during the move you can use new sand for that too. Put the cucumber in the fuge

If it were me I would remove the sand sifting starfish and not re introduce them, but that is just me
