Mushroom on a rampage HELP!

I have some blue mushrooms in my tank and they are starting to get out of control. Is there a reef safe method to quell this shrooms onslaught??

I've heard mushrooms are tasty in stir frys

I've been able to cut small triangles of rock with pliers and the mushroom did not regrow as long as I cut the part of the rock where the mouth was anchored. Of course it depends on the type of shroom. Yumas seem easier to control than rhodactis
