My giant super reef octo was no match for a cerith snail

Upgraded my protein skimmer to the beast that is the Super Reef Octopus SRO-6000SSS 12” Space Saver.
Does one hell of a job, but about two months later the pumped crapped out on me.
I took it out of my sump, broke the entire thing down for a thorough cleaning and found this guy clogging the impeller.

My giant super reef octo was no match for a cerith snail.

Good he didnt take out any teeth on the impellar!

I put a screen from a mega flow overflow over mine to keep them out and some gutter guard

Luckily it seems to be running fine now.
Just managed to wedge itself in there to stop the impeller without breaking any needles.
