So I got this little guy from a friend went right home and scooped some sand and water from the 75. Put a pice of lr in and plan on making it a zoa garden. I was think of putting a small true perc in there I'm have to poke around the Internet and see if the tank is too small for him. I got him from a friend and my tomatoes don't really like him to much!! He lives in my refuge now. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350561628.555207.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1350561661.185937.jpg

Day two no changes. Anyone have any advice on water changes? I've never had such a small system. I was also thinking about getting a harlequin shrimp for the tank. I have a bunch of little stars in my main display so I could keep him feed for a while.

It's a 2gallon tank I believe. And for now it's the stock led light that came with the tank. I have a aqua clear 20 power head on it now but I might be putting a nano koralia in there tonight.

I think its a bit small for a clown. Look forward to seeing your progress!

Thanks for the advice! I have read that it will be to small for for him so it's back to the drawing board for fish. Any suggestions??? What about a seahorse? What about chromis or one or two damsels??

2g is too small for any of those fish. at that size, you're pretty much limited to the smallest of gobies. Also, barnacle blennies would be ok in that size, but are a little difficult to come by.

for water changes i would do the same thing as you do for you 75. for top off, what i did for my 1.5 pico i drew a line to show where the water was and thats how i filled the tank with rodi water. and i would put a yasha goby they stay pretty small but they are jumpers but i can see you have a lid. and the plus side you can have a pistol shrimp with him

Nice little tank. I would definitely go with some smaller gobies for it.

If it is geared toward them and taken care of appropriately then no. but yes they are messy
