Your old tank pics look great, but there's not time like the present

Well..... I bought a tank today. :)
Now to move furniture and make room for it.

It's a 30 gallon oceanic cube, 20" wide, 18" front to back, 23" tall.

Have you ever seen someone huggle a fish tank before??? (that wasn't carrying the tank, just huggled it cause they liked it?) LOL

Yay, I found a skimmer!
Roadtrip to RI next weekend. :)
Getting an Aqua C Remora hang on skimmer with pre-filter box and a mj-1200. I had 3 of those skimmers before and they always worked well for me.

Now I just need to build a hood, get some fans, a chiller before the summer, an ro/di unit, thermometer, test kits, rocks and sand. Oh yeah and water jugs and salt and a mixing tub or two or three. I'm glad I still have some of my frag buckets and the tool kit I used specifically for breaking rocks and cutting frags.

Back to moving furniture, should I ditch my dresser or ditch my armoire (not getting rid of them just moving them to another room) to make room for this tank? LOL

.......WOW glad you did it...................so first of all those are awfull funny dims for a cube!!!! i somehow always though a CUBE had the same length, width, and height..........second nice TV set-up.........and third what are you doing for lighting as i dont think youll need a chiller even with halides

It's a set of LED 70 w, ½ blues ½ whites. I bought the tank from this thread here.

Matthew, shaddup or I'm gonna make you come help me move all this furniture! I've re-arranged my room 3 times trying to make this tank fit and my armoire is heavy and packed with clothes.

It's 6 foot tall, 3 feet wide, 20 inches front to back and PACKED full of clothes...... no where to put them all.

Quagmire, I liked being off topic in the lounge! :P

Matt, There's no room on the floor or else I wouldn't be able to move the furniture. My bedroom has a full sized bed, 2 nightstands, a large dresser, armoire, lingerie chest, 2 desks that form an "L" shaped desk, a bookcase, a computer/printer cabinet that holds the fios stuff and my tv and xbox is on top of and two cubby storage type stacker thingies, oh and an ottoman at the foot of the bed and a narrow table under the window where no real furniture can go and a laundry hamper. So yeah.... there's lots of stuff to move around. Oh and a desktop computer and a laptop in a docking station and my newer laptop that usually stays on my nightstand or gets carried around with me. I use to have a separate office from my bedroom and they had to get combined into one. I want the tank in my room since I spend most of my time in here, so that means something from my room probably has to go to a different room. I wish it would be the printer/network cabinet thingie but the main box for the Cat-6 cables are in my room so it kinda needs to stay there or else my roommate has to re-wire the house a bit. Stuff fits but then drawers and doors don't open so it's just a matter or trying different things or blocking my closet or losing a piece of furniture from my room.

Rotflol you would get tired of moving it as many times as it's been moved..... see what trouble a little fish tank can cause already? LOL

I kinda need my bed, laptop, clothes, shoes, tv and xbox. I'm not gonna sleep in a fish tank!
