I’m in a bit of a jam, I’m planning to upgrade my 15 gallon to a 50 in about 2 weeks and of course this is when my light (AI prime) completely stops working. No fan, no indicator light. Does anyone have a backup (doesn’t have to be a prime, just something to get me through the next few weeks before I move my tank)

If you can make it out to Lancaster, and ship it back to me, I have a fluval marine nano you can borrow.

Most likely the power supply is out, which is common for AI prime. You can order a replacement power supply on amazon that matching the spects on your power supply. (24v, > 3 amps)

That's awesome! Glad it was just the power supply! I've been through that a couple times with the AI lights.

It wasn’t even the power supply, somehow the connection between the power supply and the light was loose even though the cable hasn’t been touched in months and I had it organized and twist-tied. At least now I have a brand new psp for backup and/or other projects!

I feel silly but hopefully this helps someone else to check the entire connection before writing off the whole light lol
It happens to all of us! But it's a good thing to have an extra power supply for sure! I've had 3 go bad on me. Each used light I have gotten has had a bad power supply. Thats how I got my hydra 32 for $35. The guy thought it was a bad light, just a bad power supply.
