looks like I am learning more toward the 120g setup for my tank upgrade in a few months.
So just wondering, if I was to go with the 120g setup. what are the suggested equipments that I need to run a 120g reef tank?
48" light fixture?
bigger skimmer for sure

thanks
sam

Sump/Return Pump
Flow, ie: powerheads
More heaters
Controller?
What type of corals? May need to start dosing or go to a Calcium Reactor.

To name a few :)

On my 120, I run a mag 18 return (would like to switch to a eheim 1262), sro xp 2000sss skimmer, 2 mp40, 2 mp10 and 2 radions with 2 actinic t5 supplements. A small ca reactor with a tunze ato. Run my canisters off a manifold powered by an eheim 3000 compact.

holly cow.
your monthly electric bill must be way above one hundred bucks I guess.

by the way, I already have a wp25 and a wp60. (so I am all set as far as the power head goes)

Be sure to Off gas the CO2 somehow if you use a reactor , I put my effluent in to a cup that has an airstone in it and drilled a couple holes in the cup so it doesn't just overflow and make a mess . works great

Need more info, what are your plans for stocking this tank? That will help a lot in suggesting equipment.

where is your sump going? in the stand, in an adjacent room or in the basement? if it's basement than you will have enough pressure to run a becket or aqua-c nozzle skimmer straight from the overflow.
