Ok so I ran out of room in the cabinet and needed to put the ballast next to it and also going to be hooking up my cal reactor and keeping it in the same area. Was thinking small bench, or shelf? Can't be too high due to a window/ac unit. See photo, Need ideas....plz comment with suggestions/pics/etc, thanks!

Old School bench where the top lifts up and people used to store winter clothes w/moth balls?
Kind of like this.....but naturally in a color that fits your decor.

Try to find a tv stand with doors and gut it out. Try the flea market or some yard sales

Was thinking an old weathered chest type thing but can't find anything big enough

Edited my previous :)

That would be perfect! Anyone know where I can find one? If not I'll build

Or maybe just find something open in the back. Or worst case, cut an opening in the rear of the section to house the ballast.

Buy a sheet of plywood, some L brackets , wood screws and some hinges and ask @Bendint to put it together :D

Drill holes thru the floor and run those ca reactor and CO2 tank from basement . Ask Nick (this is me). I think that is how he has it setup on his previous setup.

.not sure if CO2 can be laid sideways for an extended amount of time.

Co2 tanks cannot lay on their side. If the co2 in liquid state reaches the regulator it will damage it. I speak from experience here...lol
