Need Opinion on Power Head

I have 3 modified Tunzen Nanostream, 2 6025 and 1 6045. I think each put out around 1200 GPH. However I think I need more flow. I'm looking to replace one of them with a stronger PH where the flow would make it across a 4' tank. However I don't want anything that is too big since I don't have much room and I want to be able to direct it in any direction i want to. I was thinking about a Koralia 4 but that might be too big, plus IMO it's ugly.

modded maxi-jets can put out some nice flow, and don't take up as much space as the koralias, but if you go that route, make sure you go with the "sea flow" ones, not the "sure flow" ones.

The sea flows ones are sponsored on the site, and have far less issues than the cheapo made in china sureflow's.

Also, depending on what type of money you're looking to spend, the echo vortechs are unbelievable. 1 of those along with a few smaller powerheads just to mix up the flow a little would be more than enough. I might save up for a vortech myself.

I was thinking about the vortech but I don't think you can direct the flow. If they made one that you can direct the flow I would get it in a heart beat.

these things put out so much, you can literally get a 1-2" wave motion going at the top of the tank. I've seen one, as well as heard great things from all of there owners. It doesn't look like it would, but it really does deliver solid flow all throughout the tank, just place it in the middle and i don't think there really is even a need to direct the flow.

if you set up one of those, and then maybe a koralia or two to get flow in behind the rocks, i think that would be more than enough.

It's what i'd like to do with my 4' tank once i have enough cash.

The MP40 in my 92 does make flow waves.....I had to lower my durso and raise my lights a little.

Saving up for another one
