New 70 gallon setup advice

A request to the experts. I have a 70 gallon corner pentagon Tenecor.
The limitations of the cabinet force me to something along the lines of the All-glass Sump 1. I have found a Euro-Reef skimmer that looks like it will fit. I am looking for suggestions on a pump. This is a tall tank (30 inches). It is reef ready with 3 holes drilled. There are two returns.

I don't want a fuge, just something simple. I currently have a HOB kind of setup so the whole sump config will be new for me.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply Linda. It will be an in sump pump.

I had a 55gal reef-ready tenecor that had a Mag9 in the sump and that worked great, so I would recommend at LEAST a Mag12 for yours. Another good option is the Hydor Seltz pumps. I just replaced my Mag7 with it and it's much quieter than the Mag; just a low hum. The question is how long will it last^_^;

70 gallon? I dont think you need more than a mag5, or equivalent (OR2700 rocks). Adding a bigger pump for the return is just going to cost you more to run, add more heat, and make more noise.

Thanks for the input guys. I don't even want to think about the lighting yet.

I have a 70 also and I my external pump that was rated to about 1200gph (through 2 lifegaurd cans) went so I am now using a mag7(with no lifgaurds attatched). It does the job but I am thinking about picking up a mag 12 or so, This way I can put my canisters on again. I like a 10x turnover and the 7 is only about a 6x at the hight I am at so it is all prefference.
