I have been paying attention to this company and their invention and curious what others thought? North of $400 seems steep but 20ish cubes of frozen food without spoiling seems pretty nice! Can't drop that kind of money on something like that now but it would be nice!

Hopefully it works well long term and price drops

If it gets closer to $200 I would be much more inclined to buy at that price point!

My thought exactly, my fear is it seems like a new company. I've searched their website and doesn't seem to have any other products other than the auto feeder.

They have been R&D'ing this for close to 2 years IIRC. I signed up to be part of their email list for updates and to get first crack at their first public sales offer but I can't justify it for that price. I was given the opportunity to help fund the start up with either a free unit or some other perk but I never pulled the trigger on that aspect...

I would've also loved for pricing to have been somewhat lower. But this also brings a good step forward as it also gives other companies a guide to follow and hopefully bring some alternatives.

My biggest problem is how small it is for that price. 20ish cubes isn’t a lot. I’ve seen some really cool diy builds on reef2reef that are basically exactly this, but cost like 100 bucks to put together and hold way more food.

But this is definitely a great step forward and I hope it becomes popular so other brands do the same cheaper.

Will do! I don't think I will have it for about a month, and then it will take a while to have it set up. I have to modify my tank cover to add an opening for it.

It looks like you put the main unit with the food in it in your sump area, and it has a tube that you run up to your tank for dispensing the food. But you could put it above your tank too, if you want.
