My clowns lost their minds and are being re-homed into an IM15 lagoon. This will be the smallest tank I’ve had so I have a couple questions. With a Sicce Syncra 1.0 as the return will I need an additional powerhead? Is the 1.0 too much? I’ll be bare bottom with one primary rock structure for a nem. All the ceramic media I can fit is going in the middle chamber so no skimmer.

My livestock plans are the two clowns, a BTA and some sort of encrusting coral on the back wall. Is GSP as invasive as the horror stories or can I keep it inline on the back wall? Would anthelia be a better choice or stick with something like cyphastrea or a monti?

I’m thinking this is almost an immediate setup with the rock and media all coming from my existing sump. Do you think ill have any issues with putting the clowns in the same weekend and a nem the next?

GSP on back wall won't be bad. I'm trying to do that on my remote fuge and it's easy enough to rip off rockwork and should be even easier on a flat surface.

I would think that pump should be enough flow and if it is you can always add a valve (don't know if it's DC pump or not)

Mine's been growing for about 18 months. So far, I've only had to clear out the overflow a couple of times. It's easy to do with a plastic razor blade. It's starting to grow on the returns but it should be easy to rip back. I think it looks good. Just make sure to glue the frags down low so it grows up.
