newbee with a dumb question???

ok I have 4 very small blue leg hermits.. Now the question is do I need to supply them with bigger shells to grow into like you would have to for a pet hermit crab?? LOL

1) there are no dumb questions here.

2) yes, or they will kill and eat your snails for their shells....

You could provide them with bigger shells or they will kill your snails to get the shells.

Agreed that there are no dumb question & yes to scattering a few larger shells around the tank.
