Newbie Class 4-25 in Marlboro

The votes and available locations are in, and the newbie class is going to happen on 4-26-09 in Marlboro.

The location is going to either be at 255 Main Street if the crowd is large, and my house if the crowd is small.

The start time is going to be 3PM.

Agenda: Meet and greet, Q&A, and a QUICK presentation on either reef chemistry or coral fragging for beginners. ALL are welcome, new, old or somewhere in-between. Maybe a reefers dinner someplace local afterwards?

For those with geography/timing issues, the NEXT newbie class will more than likely be in May, and South of Boston.

I'm hoping to survive this one first

Jay I should be there, I had 3 sick kids all week (great vacation). As long as nothing else pops up I will be there. Not sure about dinner after.

Should have had it on a different weekend, I think its hard for people to commit 2 days to reefing, with the regular meeting being on Sunday. I can only speak for myself, but everyday Im either talking about it, moving something in it, buying something for it, or staring at something in it. I think my wife and kids want me to go, just so they can get a break from "THE TANK".

Tomorrow is the monthly BRS meeting(regular meeting). This was for a less formal meeting for new members to ask questions on beginner reef keeping topics(which we all forget)

I made the call to cancel it.....everyone but 2 people canceled.

I guess the timing was bad; we'll try again next month south of town.....
