After the recent power outage for days, I lost my clowns and the couple of corals I had. Started all over, cleaned everything, reworked my rock, got it running crystal clear now. Looks great.
0 fish or corals, but plan to add soon.

suggestions besides Clown fish ?

I’m running the same tank. I have a DaVinci clown, a tailspot blenny, and an orchid dottyback. The dotty went in last - after the other two had been in for 3+ months. After some territorial scuffling (nothing major) for a couple of days, they’re all doing fine.

I’d highly recommend a tailspot or similar blenny. Lots of little gobies (especially paired with a pistol shrimp) do well in this tank. The dotty was a bit of a risk, but I’m happy with it. It’s a peaceful Community tank and the dottyback is a model citizen now (it’s probably my last fish). Other people have had issues with them. Fire fish, cardinals, and grammas are popular choices for this tank too.

That’s great, thanks for the info. I’ll check them all out and decide. I have a lot of hiding spaces and a nice cave. This time I’m building the rock against the back glass and the filter wall (don’t plan on cleaning either and hope to get some coral growth)

I added a media basket to chamber 1, ordered a replacement basket for the foam in chamber two. Upgraded the pump and added a heater.
